Kinda a classical blonde story, right? Sounds like you were well dressed for the occassion.

I had a parallel experience last October, on Halloween. There is a strong tradition with costumes at my employer and as a creative individual in a creative profession, pressure to participate and show my capabilities. I made up a last minute outfit that even my boyfriend did not know about. After work, I picked up my dog and headed over to said boyfriends house in costume for a suprise. After circling the block a few times for parking, I made sure to go to the curb side to get the dog out of the car. Except that I was locked out of my own car, in the dark, on Halloween, on a busy street and dressed like Batgirl. Sure felt like a sham of a Batgirl without a way to solve the issue on my own. The phone, the keys and any way to cover up my now embarrasing costume were all locked away with a very confused dog. Walked a few blocks to BF's place who called AAA, and used his membership card, as mine again, was locked away in the car.

Thankfully, others did not find it necessary to point out the irony of superhero v. blond who put her oun dog in peril. And thankfully it was an October evening so 45 minutes locked in the car with the windows up was not harmful to my forgiving little friend.
